While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

UN warning: Food indicators in Gaza exceed famine thresholds

Wednesday 30-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Gaza Strip is on the brink of famine, with two out of three famine indicators already surpassed, according to a new alert by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC).

UN agencies, including the World Food Program (WFP) and UNICEF, warn that the humanitarian situation has reached catastrophic levels amid ongoing attacks by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), the collapse of basic services, and severe restrictions on aid.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres described the crisis as a “humanitarian catastrophe of epic proportions,” stressing that Gaza needs an immediate and permanent ceasefire, full humanitarian access, and the release of all captives.

Over 500,000 people are facing famine-like conditions, with widespread hunger, rising malnutrition, and growing reports of starvation deaths, especially among children.

UN agencies called for an urgent, uninterrupted flow of aid and the resumption of commercial imports, warning that humanitarian relief alone cannot meet the needs of Gaza’s 2.1 million residents.

UN Women also reported that one million women and girls in Gaza face starvation, abuse, and impossible choices between sheltering or risking death in search of food.

Aid groups stressed the need for immediate action to prevent further mass suffering.

PGMO: Israel engineers starvation by looting aid deliveries in controlled areas

Wednesday 30-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs), through deliberate actions fostering chaos and starvation, have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

In a blatant act of aggression, 109 aid trucks were looted Tuesday amidst the security turmoil that Israel is accused of systematically perpetuating. This, the GMO says, is part of a calculated strategy to disrupt the distribution of humanitarian aid and deprive civilians of vital resources.

The PGMO further confirmed that six airdrops of aid were carried out in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday. However, four of these drops landed in areas under the control of the IOFs or in neighborhoods that Palestinian civilians had already been forcibly evacuated from.

These areas are highly unsafe, with civilians present at risk of direct targeting and violence, making the airdrops not only ineffective but also life-threatening for the already starving population.

The Gaza Strip requires a minimum of 600 trucks carrying aid and fuel daily to meet the most basic needs of critical sectors. Current deliveries fall drastically short of this requirement, worsening the dire humanitarian situation.

The PGMO condemned what it called ongoing crimes of chaos, starvation, and deprivation affecting 2.4 million people in Gaza, including 1.1 million children. It highlighted the severe shortage of essential items such as baby formula, which has left countless families struggling to feed their infants.

The PGMO placed full responsibility for the humanitarian disaster on Israel and the countries complicit in the ongoing genocide. It called for the immediate reopening of crossings and the safe, organized delivery of aid, including baby formula and other critical supplies, under direct UN supervision.

The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), supported by the UN, has issued an urgent warning that Gaza is on the brink of a worst-case famine scenario. Evidence continues to mount that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is escalating rapidly, with one million women and girls now facing starvation. The warning underscores the urgent need for international intervention to address the growing catastrophe.

UN experts accuse Israel of using thirst as weapon in Gaza, call its acts “barbaric”

Wednesday 30-July-2025

GENEVA, (PIC)

A galaxy of UN human rights experts has accused Israel of deliberately depriving Palestinians in the Gaza Strip of access to clean drinking water, calling it a “serious violation of international law” and a “crime against humanity.”

“Israel is using thirst as a weapon to kill Palestinians,” the experts said in a statement published on Tuesday on the website of the UN Human Rights Office.

“Cutting off water and food is a silent but lethal bomb that kills mostly children and babies. The sight of infants dying in their mothers’ arms is unbearable. How can world leaders sleep while this suffering continues?” the experts underscored.

“Israel’s blockade and destruction of civilian infrastructure has left most of Gaza’s two million residents displaced and without access to the minimum vital amount of drinking water,” the experts affirmed. “This has led to deaths and widespread illness caused by water pollution, and a lack of sanitation and hygiene.”

The independent experts, who are appointed by the UN Human Rights Council, say that water and sanitation systems in Gaza have been systematically targeted throughout Israel’s war on the Palestinian enclave.

“Since October 2023, Israel’s military operations have repeatedly targeted water facilities, wells, pipelines, desalination units, and sewage systems. 89 percent of Gaza’s water and sanitation infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed by Israel’s forces, leaving over 90 percent of households water insecure.”

“Israel’s acts right now in Gaza are barbaric, and the related actions of government officials constitute crimes under the Rome Statute: extermination is committed by cutting off the supply of medicine, food and water,” the experts said.

“These intentional, widespread and systematic attacks against Palestinians are a deliberate infliction of conditions of life calculated to bring about the physical destruction of a population – another act of genocide,” their statement elaborated.

The experts have called for “immediate deployment of naval humanitarian aid from all Mediterranean ports, delivering fuel, water, supplies, and personnel to help restore essential services in Gaza and meet urgent humanitarian needs.”

The experts have urged the international community to “act now to end this inhumane and unlawful deprivation and to guarantee the urgent restoration of water and sanitation in Gaza.”

Gaza doctor warns: 17,000 children suffering from severe malnutrition

Wednesday 30-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Dr. Mu'hammed Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, has warned that over 17,000 children in Gaza are now in a state of severe malnutrition, with hunger-related deaths rising rapidly due to the ongoing Israeli blockade and starvation policy.

He confirmed that 154 people, including 89 children, have died from hunger so far, and that hospitals are overwhelmed, with bed capacity at Al-Shifa exceeding 250%. Children, he stressed, “are the most vulnerable and cannot survive famine for long.”

The doctor described the situation as a medical and humanitarian catastrophe, noting that 90% of patients lack daily access to food, and that 12% of cases suffer from acute malnutrition. He warned that if crossings are not opened immediately, “a massacre is imminent”.

Hospitals are unable to provide essential nutritional care, and premature infants are at extreme risk due to the lack of baby milk. Gazans, he added, have resorted to herbs to survive.

Abu Salmiya called on international and UN agencies to act urgently to bring in food, baby milk, medicines, and high-energy nutritional supplements, and to allow medical evacuations for critical cases. Without intervention, he warned, death tolls will continue to rise sharply.

'Hamas: Gaza faces catastrophic famine as genocide reaches its deadliest phase

Wednesday 30-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has confirmed that the Gaza Strip is facing a catastrophic famine amid a total blockade lasting over five months, the deadliest phase of the ongoing genocide, marked by the closure of all crossings and the denial of baby formula, food, and medicine to over two million people, including 40,000 infants at immediate risk of death and 60,000 pregnant women.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Movement said Israel has turned food into a weapon of slow death and humanitarian aid into a tool of chaos and looting, under the direct supervision of its army and aircraft.

'Hamas added that the majority of aid trucks entering Gaza are looted and attacked as part of a deliberate policy by the occupation army aimed at “engineering chaos and starvation,” depriving civilians of even the little aid available and obstructing its safe and organized distribution.

The Movement noted that while Gaza needs over 600 trucks of aid and fuel daily to meet its minimum needs, what is allowed in represents only a tiny fraction of that.

It highlighted the dire situation where mothers are forced to feed their infants water instead of milk, noting that 154 Palestinians, including 89 children, have died from hunger so far, with hundreds suffering daily from severe malnutrition amid the near-total collapse of the healthcare system.

'Hamas also criticized the staged “aid drops” promoted by the Israeli occupation, saying most of these fall in dangerous, evacuated areas, rendering them useless and even life-threatening for civilians.

The Movement accused the occupation army of deliberately targeting aid security teams and opening looting corridors under its protection as part of a systematic plan to perpetuate famine as a weapon of war.

'Hamas called on international institutions to expose and legally and morally denounce Israel’s policy of “engineered starvation,” describing it as a deliberate and compounded war crime no less severe than direct bombing and destruction.

It stressed that breaking the siege and reopening the crossings immediately and unconditionally is the only solution to end Gaza’s catastrophe, warning that any delay will push the situation into an even deadlier stage of genocide, especially against the most vulnerable groups: children, the sick, and the elderly.

Finally, Hamas urged free peoples and humanitarian and rights organizations worldwide to escalate their efforts and push for an independent and secure UN-led mechanism for the entry and distribution of aid, away from the control of Israel and its criminal policies.

154 martyrs from starvation in Gaza as UN agencies warn of looming famine

Wednesday 30-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that seven more citizens, including a child, have died due to starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed deaths from hunger to 154, including 89 children.

According to a stark warning from the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), the Gaza Strip is now facing an imminent risk of famine, with food consumption and nutrition indicators reaching their worst levels since the beginning of the war.

The report confirmed that two of the three famine thresholds have already been exceeded in parts of Gaza. Both the World Food Program (WFP) and UNICEF warned that time is rapidly running out to mount a comprehensive humanitarian response.

A joint statement from UN agencies blamed the worsening crisis on “the ongoing conflict, the collapse of basic services, and severe restrictions on the delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid imposed on the United Nations,” all of which have contributed to catastrophic food security conditions for hundreds of thousands across the besieged enclave.

The Gaza Strip is currently undergoing the most severe humanitarian catastrophe in its history, as famine deepens under a genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation army since October 7, 2023.

Since March 2, 2025, Israel has completely sealed all crossings into Gaza, blocking the entry of nearly all food and medical supplies. This has resulted in widespread hunger and mass starvation throughout the Strip.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has warned that malnutrition among children under five could double between March and June due to the ongoing siege and aid restrictions.

The World Health Organization (WHO) also confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels, holding the deliberate blockade and delays in humanitarian aid directly responsible for many of the deaths. The organization reported that nearly one in five children under five years old in Gaza City now suffers from severe acute malnutrition.

Elderly Palestinian detainee from Gaza dies in Israeli custody

Wednesday 30-July-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) announced the martyrdom of 60-year-old detainee Sayil Rajab Abul Nasr from Gaza inside Israeli prisons.

Abul Nasr was arrested in November 2023 and died on January 21, 2025, under conditions described as inhumane and abusive.

The two institutions said that Abul Nasr’s martyrdom adds to a growing list of systematic crimes against detainees from Gaza, including torture, starvation, medical neglect, and sexual violence.

His case brings the number of prisoners and detainees martyred in Israel’s custody since the start of the genocide to at least 75, including 46 from Gaza.

They warned that conditions in Israeli prisons have reached their most brutal phase in history, with over 10,800 Palestinians currently held, including women, children, and more than 3,600 administrative detainees. At least 2,454 of them from Gaza are classified by the occupation as “illegal fighters.”

The Commission and the PPS held the occupation fully responsible for Abu Nasr’s death and called for an independent international investigation into prisoner deaths, as well as sanctions against the occupation to end its culture of impunity.

Earlier today, gun-toting soldiers had evacuated residents from several buildings, including the Sama complex, and homes in Tal'at Al-Ghabz, turning them into military outposts.

It then redeployed its soldiers there after residents attempted to return and inspect the homes.

Photos and videos documented by residents of several homes that the occupation army briefly evacuated before returning to them showed extensive damage to the homes and to the residents' property.

The occupation has continued its aggression on the city of Jineen and its refugee camp since January 21, which has so far resulted in the killing of nearly 44 Palestinians, with numerous injuries and detentions.

According to Jineen Municipality statistics, as of June, the army had completely destroyed nearly 600 homes in the camp. A new demolition operations are currently underway, targeting an additional 95 homes.

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Wednesday morning, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to Al-Qastal News, 239 settlers entered the Mosque in the morning through its Maghariba Gate and provocatively toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers and songs in the eastern area of the Mosque.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

In a related context, Palestinian activists continued to urge their compatriots in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and 1948 occupied Palestine to intensify their presence inside Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards and premises to protect it against Israeli violations.

Wednesday 30-July-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers set fire to swaths of agricultural land in Burqa village in the northwest of Nablus on Tuesday evening.

Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights said that settlers escorted by soldiers came from the illegal settlement of Homesh and set swaths of land aflame near Palestinian homes in Burqa village.

Israeli soldiers reportedly fired tear gas canisters at homes in the village following the arson attack.

The frequency of settler attacks has increased in recent years, particularly since they have become more blatantly sponsored by the Israeli occupation government than ever before.

Those attacks have diversified during this period and have increased as part of an organized policy targeting the Palestinian presence in the West Bank, by attacking and oppressing residents and pushing them to leave in favor of settlement expansion.

IOAR threatens to raze all homes of Nu'man village in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Wednesday 30-July-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) notified, on Wednesday, the Palestinian residents of Nu'man village in the northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) of its intent to demolish all their homes under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

Chief of the village council Jamal Al-Dairawi said that employees from the Israeli municipality escorted by police officers stormed the village and delivered demolition notices against its homes, for the third time since the beginning of the current year.

According to these notices, all 35 inhabited homes in the village, comprising 45 apartments, are slated for demolition on the grounds of unauthorized construction.

The IOAR has been banning construction in the village for 32 years, which forced about 100 residents to leave their homes.

Since the IOAR built the separation wall in the area in 2002, the village has become isolated from Jerusalem, although it lies within the city’s municipal boundaries. The Israeli police also maintain a checkpoint at its entrance to control the residents’ movement.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
